Endless weeding.
The vegetables were still growing strong despite the weeds.
But you know, the fact that weeds grow so well might actually mean the soil has improved.
Before I started soil improvement, only a few tough grasses like silvergrass and horsetail would grow.
Clearly, the types of weeds appearing now have changed.
